Melbourne Airport Upgrade

Melbourne is at it again! Trying to flash up their image as the shopping Mecca of Australia, now you don’t even have to leave the airport. A development plan has been put underway to basically add a mall onto the Melbourne International Airport.
Aimed at helping out the 12,000+ people who work at the airport, it is set to include a grocery store, bottle shop, bulky goods center (read washing machines and refrigerators), a gym, and even a child care center! Talk about one stop shopping. Now all those harried business travelers can get a work out, pick up the bread, milk and kids straight after they get off their flight. It won’t do anything to lower airfare to Australia, but it should make things a bit nicer once you arrive.
