Last Minute Travel Deals, Canellations.com.au

Finally!!!!! This morning on my drive in, I heard a radio article that peaked my interest. I used to be a huge user of Priceline.com in the States for cheap last minute hotels. Upon moving to OZ, I was heartbroken to discover it doesn’t really work here. BUT! Cancellations is a new website that sounds promising.
Working on a similar premise of Priceline, they figure hotels have rooms and have a base cost to have those rooms. If someone cancels, or they don’t fill that room, it is better to have some one paying a little less- just to have the room full. Call me a scavenger, but I’ll take it.
Cancellations is an online, real time, fully automated booking service which allows accommodation providers to list their last minute availability and cancellations at a price to sell. Everyone wins! I’m unsure how their service will hold up- but- feel free to respond with your experiences if you try it.
