BootsnAll Travelers Connect – A Facebook App for Independent Travelers

BootsnAll has done it! They’ve released a great new Facebook application — BootsnAll Travelers Connect — that makes it super easy to get in touch with locals, and meet other travelers, during your weekend getaway or around the world journey. Best of all, it’s right in the middle of a social media tool most of us use anyway.

What this application does is allows you to create a profile telling where you live, and where you will be traveling to. The joy of BootsnAll Travelers Connect is that it is pretty simple to use, so you won’t be scratching your head at any point wondering what to do next. Don’t believe me? After you’ve created a profile that tells where you live, and where you will be traveling to, you will then be notified of all the locals and travelers that will be there as well. If you have any questions for the local, or simply want someone to meet up for coffee with, you are then able to connect with those people through Facebook. How easy is that?!

• Find good places to stay.
• Find out how to get to an event.
• Find people to go out on the town with.
• Find someone to chat with over coffee or a beer.

The goal is to gain access to unique travel experiences that you can’t get from a guide book.
