Mine Antarctica, says Joyce
CONTROVERSIAL Queensland Nationals senator Barnaby Joyce has said Australia should mine Antarctica before another country gets in first.
He said if Australia did not start exploiting the mineral wealth of Antarctica soon, then other countries would extract minerals from the pristine frozen continent.
Uh, yeah, ’cause that isn’t going to piss off anyone else…
