With all the brew-haha regarding the Corby case, it isn't surprised that little 'ol NZ starts to wonder if they have to worry about baggage handlers stealing things and packing drugs. The bottom line is: they don't. Sure, there are some issues regarding theft, but that's more from sticky-fingered public than anyone else. Apparently there was a ring they broke up awhile back, but the 'intelligence' they have (ie. snitches? other thieves? what?) says there is nothing to worry about.
