Tourism fearful of trans-Tasman lure

NOT content with snaring the Bledisloe Cup, New Zealand has devised a plan to lure away our backpackers.
Tourism bosses fear Australia's lucrative backpacking industry, worth $1.3 billion a year, is under threat from changes to New Zealand's working-holiday visa program that gives travellers greater flexibility to work.
