Croc Hunter’s Zoo named top tourism exporter

Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo has been named Australia's Tourism Exporter of the Year.
The award was presented by Trade Minister Mark Vaile at a gala Australian Export Awards dinner at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre last night.

Mr Vaile said Australia Zoo, which is located on the Sunshine Coast, played an important role in encouraging other Australian businesses to export, its strong international profile attracting inbound tourists to its world-class facility.
